This typical plate is a common dish in Colombia, which you can make with fish, beef, chicken, plantain, peas or pork. Sancocho is originally from the “El Valle” region, located in the west part of the country.

This soup is originally made from hens but some people use chicken as well, it is served with avocado, white rice and ají on the side.   • Water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Meat of your choice
  • Onions
  • Seasoning

How to prepare:

Using a large pot, bring water to boil. Add one teaspoon of salt and meat of your choice (chicken, beef or pork) season to taste with cooked onions and seasoning (pepper, cuming, cilantro) and the vegetables included in the Delifood Sancocho bag and boil for 20 minutes until the soup thickens.
